THE EAGLE ROCK STORY
Eagle Rock had small beginnings. A rec center was rented out, then a husband, wife, & their newborn followed God's call to empower young boys who were from the worst of the worst situations to overcome life's circumstances. It wasn't long until 6 young boys came from the foster care system and moved in with Scott & Diana Hilton and their 3 month old. Eagle Rock was birthed. 26 years, 3 different properties, and 4 new houses later, over 400 boys have called Eagle Rock home.

FIND HEALING
Finding healing is the first step. When a young boy arrives at Eagle Rock, they have often endured unthinkable trauma and have come from brutal circumstances. The journey is different for each boy; It takes different lengths of time. But, before they can move forward, they must find the healing they are desperate for.

EXPERIENCE FAMILY
This phase is when their eyes begin to open to a new and better way to live. Our houseparents, staff, social workers, counselors, therapists - everyone involved at Eagle Rock - play a massive role in helping these boys see what true, Godly family looks like. We love to say this around here: "Once you're a part of the Eagle Rock family, you're a part of the Eagle Rock family forever."

PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE
Lastly, these boys must be equipped.. We place great emphasis on empowering these boys with the tools they need. Whether it be skillsets, finance knowledge, or social skills, we hyper-focus on being sure they're equipped and ready.
Being at Eagle Rock for the last 17 years has been both a tremendous blessing and a great adventure. When God called me here, I had no idea what the Lord had in store. I found that, as we linked arms with our community and the body of Christ, God would use us to make a generational difference in the lives of hundreds of children.
The healing that takes place as we love, nurture and provide a stable environment for the boys of Eagle Rock Boys Home is nothing short of miraculous. My team and I get a front row seat as these boys, who have endured horrendous trauma, grow into who God has called them to be.
This is only possible because of the grace of God and our faithful partners. Words never seem adequate to express our gratitude. We treasure each of you. Thank you for making a difference!
